CHIO 2006
World Festival of Equestrian Sports –
CHIO 2006 in Aachen, Germany:
This year Aachen does not just host the CHIO – the World Festival of Equestrian Sports – but also the World Equestrian Games.
For the 2006 CHIO from 17th to 21th of May the event location Aachen Soers attracted more than 200,000 visitors.
The organisers were quite concerned about the many thunderstorms (as were we – the tent engineers) because the tents needed to withstand the most severe downpours and gusts of wind with speeds of more than 80mph.
On 10th of July we will start to set up the WEG – what a fantastic show to come!
